President's Message

Welcome to NJKBA.

When a handful of us first met on a New Jersey court in 2013, we never imagined how far a simple love of basketball could take us. What started as a weekly pickup game has grown into an association of four teams, a season-long league, and a proud presence at national Korean-American tournaments.

But our greatest achievement is not a trophy. It is the community we have built — a place where players from every background, every generation and every skill level can find teammates, mentors and lifelong friends. On our courts, we push each other to be better, and off the court, we look out for one another.

In June 2027, we will have the honor of welcoming the Korean American Olympics to New Jersey. It is a moment for all of us to show the nation the spirit, hospitality and competitive fire that define our association.

Whether you are a seasoned competitor, a returning player or simply someone who loves the game, I invite you to join us. Come to a run, meet the team, and become part of the story. There is a place for you here.
